Tribute to Art Nava

Art Nava dedicated his life to service, leadership, and the protection of others. After many distinguished years in Law Enforcement, Art brought his experience, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to PDA, where he quickly became an invaluable part of the agency. Rising to the position of Chief of Investigations, Art played a critical role in shaping and strengthening the organization through his leadership, creating and maintaining year-round training programs for Field Agents while also contributing significantly to supervision, client relations, and employee development.

Art was deeply respected not only for his expertise but for his ability to connect with people. His exceptional rapport with clients, workers, and management set him apart, and his bilingual skills were instrumental in effectively communicating PDA’s Criminal Investigations protocols. Through this, he helped ensure worker safety, foster cooperation, and build lasting trust between PDA and those it served.

Throughout his remarkable career, Art’s dedication and excellence were recognized with numerous honors, including receiving the PDA Star of Excellence on two separate occasions and being named Supervisory Agent of the Year during his final year of service.

Art Nava leaves behind a legacy of integrity, compassion, and tireless dedication. His impact on his colleagues, community, and the many lives he touched will not be forgotten. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but for the strength of character and generosity he brought to every aspect of his life.

Pipkin Detective Agency News Release: $71M Verdict awarded to T.I. and Tiny Harris

On September 23, 2024, T.I. and Tiny Harris were awarded $71 million in damages after a jury found that MGA Entertainment’s “L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G.” dolls had infringed on the intellectual property of their girl group, OMG Girlz. This outcome came after several trials, including a mistrial and an initial loss, but the couple successfully argued that the dolls copied the group’s likeness and style. The jury concluded that the dolls violated trade dress and image rights, resulting in the large Verdict. The Pipkin Detective Agency assisted Plaintiff’s Lawyer throughout the Trial.

Private detective takes down burglary suspect

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Visalia Police arrested a burglary suspect this weekend.

34-year-old Andrew Langley is accused of stealing from the same downtown boutique multiple times.
On Saturday, Visalia’s Pipkin Detective Agency made a citizen’s arrest on Langley at Visalia’s Oval Park before police arrived.

George W. Bush Speaks at World Ag Expo

The International Agri-Center was host to President George W. Bush as a featured guest at the Ag Warriors Gala on February 15, 2012 during World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. The event benefited returning veterans by placing them in long-term professions in the agriculture industry. The Gala Banquet was a total success.

This was the second time PDA assisted the United States Secret Service Presidential Protection Unit when Bush has visited the Central Valley.
